It is important to understand the relationship between you, your insurance company and Daniels-Head when a claim or potential claim situation arises. If you purchased coverage through Daniels-Head, then we are either your agent or your broker, depending on the transaction in question. Your contract for insurance, however, is with the insurance company.
Insurance companies generally require that notice of a claim or a potential claim or incident be made directly to them. If you choose to give notice of a claim or potential claim or incident to Daniels-Head, then we will gladly forward this information on to your insurance company. The details for providing notice to the insurance company have been included in the policy documentation delivered to your firm and you should follow these instructions expressly.
